Most of the content of Dragon Age Central has been developer posts to the official Dragon Age forums, first opened in May 2004. But all things must come to an end, and these forums were shut down on 2nd November 2009, the day before the game’s release in North America.

Since I haven’t had time to add much other content to the site for most of 2009, I’ve decided to also shut down Dragon Age Central as it was, leaving it here as an archive.

The new Dragon Age Central is now a much simpler (and fully automated) website dedicated to making developer posts to the new official forum (on Bioware’s social site) easier to find and search through.

It’s been interesting running this site, and in a way I’ll miss it... but hopefully I’ll be too busy finally playing the actual game to care :)

You cannot turn into a Desire Demon (or any demon) in the game through Shapechange.

I suppose it would be possible to use the Toolset and change the appearance to look like a DD, but event then you do not ever play a desire demon in game.

Like all our games (DA:O, ME, BG2, etc), the amount of time you get out of a game differs from person to person. I estimate Warden's Keep at 3-6 hours depending on how much you do, difficulty setting, etc. I think it would be possible if you did the crtitical path only, especially on an easy difficulty setting, to do it in about 45 minutes.

As always, you get more out of our games if you put more into our games. smile smile

Mages, like all characters, can use any weapon AS LONG AS they meet the requirements to use that weapon. Most two-handed weapons require a significant strength. If you want to level up your mage with strength points, then it would certainly be possible.

Nope, 360 uses DVD for its game drive, the HD-DVD is an add-on and is NOT used for games. 6.8 is about max space on a DVD and im sure they filled it up.

http://www.dragonagecentral.com/single/1254849360

Actually 360 uses DVD9 which holds 8.54 GB but Derek is saying 15.2 GB.
Please do not mix things up like this.

All I said was that my current PC English install of Dragon Age: Origins was 15.2 Gig on my hard drive at work. That was installed from compressed files off of a single DVD9. Don't start talking about the 360 in the same breath.
